I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I’ve been a member of this church since I was baptized at 8 years old, and I am currently active in this church. My experiences being a member of this church is that you go to church because you want to be more like Jesus, even though you know those around you, as well as yourself aren’t perfect like He is, you still go. I know that it’s here where Jesus Christ can teach me by His Holy Spirit. Its also here where I know I can be given opportunities to serve others like Jesus did when He was alive. This has helped me know I am a child of God, because of the many things I still need to learn about His teachings. This church is undoubtedly centered around Jesus Christ, and I’m glad I’m a member.

Lesson on It Speaks

Someone said, “Every word we speak, is deposited into our own soul.” I can’t agree more with that, especially when we speak words of positivity to one another, words of encouragement, and words of love. No matter how difficult, or how tempting or even how easy the way is to speak negatively to or about others. Remember, we have the power to change or stop all of that and become better people for it. This is a life lesson that I continue to work on, and it’s Jesus Christ who is the master example whose gospel teachings show us the way.

A Sword or a Cest Pool

A sword or a cest pool. To me it has many meanings but I like that it could mean that our words give God the permission to work through us or give the adversary permission to work through us. Whatever it’s meaning, its nothing short of the teachings of Jesus Christ. To give focus on using the sword also means to me that our heartfelt prayers can allow the angels come and fight for us, and to never think our prayers, our worship, praise, and tears don’t do anything. The Lord listens, and assists us if we continually use his word, speak his word, and do His word. Amen to that!!
