The Savior Jesus Christ was the greatest example of humility. When he walked on earth, he was the most powerful, knowledgeable, and extraordinary man to ever live. Yet he lived a life most of us are afraid but capable of doing, and that is to simply live life thinking of ourselves less.
I’ve had this hymn on my mind lately, and it reminds me every time I look at my daughter how much responsibility I have to be good to her so that she would want to share her life with me through eternity. Also, I realize that this doesn’t mean without challenges, but through a process of learning to follow Christ’s way, overcoming and moving forward.
“I have a family here on earth. They are so good to me. I want to share my life with them through all eternity.
Families can be together forever through Heav’nly Father’s plan. I always want to be with my own family, And the Lord has shown me how I can. The Lord has shown me how I can.”
“Prayer is not a negotiation process. It is an alignment process. We don’t move God to our point of view. Prayer is less about changing our circumstances and more about changing us. It is about seeking His will and asking for His help to do what we need to do.”
